I have to second this. Absolutely the best hood scoop EVER on a VX.
Also, the world's tiniest DVD screen! :gring:
You'd better start fabbing up some hood scoops for the rest of us peons.
GREAT job.
I've always liked this combination of green & orange, there's just somethin' in my brain that gets all gooey when I see it...:razzgray:
I guess it doesn't hurt matters any that it was one of my faves to drive in Gran Tourismo...:smilewink

Mark, your quality of craftmanship is simply stunning & breathtaking. Don't forget to paint the cladding "bolts" lime-green, too.
In addition, does the T-Bird hood scoop have a "drain hole" for rain water??? Otherwise, you're gonna have a small lake of water where the hood scoop has the "moon crater" in front of the scoop???
Wicked hood... I want one! Your VX looks sweet. Great Job.
Thanks very much, :smilewink
I've been looking for another TBird hood...
Surprisingly the scoop doesn't pool water and
I did retain the stock drains for the insert.
I still have the stock insert, I'll bond some kind of scoop to it.
I've been playing with photochop for paint ideas and watching every car show on TV (DVR ROCKS) I want to do something really unique.
The good thing is it doesn't take much paint for our VXs.
Ldub, I do like that color combo too.
This weekend I'm working on my side mirriors.
I'm doing something really neat!
this will let you paint your vx..

I love the hood scoop. Starting my search for a t-bird hood NOW.
You said you did a carbon fiber 'dip' process? It looks so good! Was it difficult? On with my search. Scott
Don--- Awesome website!!! Thank you for sharing it with us. I spent hours on it playing with different paint colors, window tint, vehicle height, wheels, and tires. Very entertaining. Let's me know what looks good and what doesn't BEFORE I possibly waste any money.
Great Modding skills you got there. I luv the outcome.
What year Tbird hood was that again?
Looks like I will be painting my VX new Viper Green.
I'll do all the labor, and I might get some free paint!(fingers crossed)
Thunderbird hood years 2002 to 2005.
Here is the progress of the new mirror installation.
The VX is kinda dirty.
