my life goes by your quote lol
"FASTER,FASTER,FASTER...Until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death!"
Pep - change your Fuel Pressure Regulator. I used to get around the same out of my tank.
Do a search here its $70 There should not be any ranges. You might be lookin at fuel pump.
i get 350-370 mpg as well, i and i have 132,000 miles on mine, it's all in air pressure and changing new small parts as well. well i think it is.
mine varies with the seasons....I got 16mpg the last fill-up which is typical for winter for me. The worst I got this winter was 15mpg but that involved a few times of just idling in the drive-way for 20 minutes each time because she set for a couple weeks. Typically in the warmer months (spring, summer, fall) she gets 17 to 17.5mpg mixed driving and SC'ed.
My all time best was traveling to Vermont with cruise on she got 23mpg there and 22mpg back. I've never come close since.....drats!
I filled up just about COMPLETELY (~21 G's) on Monday--drove up to Riverside, over to Irvine and back, then back to San Diego.
Burned close to 3/4 of the tank, and had to fill up again today, but...
I had rolled 354 miles.
Not sure what the exact difference is either from the stock size wheels (not drastic), but around town I usually get 290 miles a tank.
I just tested my VX. Filled up, reset mileage, and I got 357 miles on one tank. I probably could have gone another few miles as well, the light was not on yet.

That’s nuts. I probly could get closer to 250 then I am now but my gas gauge is messed up so I get nervous when its close to empty.
Everyone's favorite show, "Top Gear" Dyno'ed his Shelby Mustang, "Bullet" edition @ 250 HP
I think our 215 HP and 16 MPG VX's are in range.
Sorry, maybe Cyrk, or ?, has the rear wheel Dyno #
I'm just saying, for the amount of HP, you sacrifice fuel, no matter what you drive.
how far down does the fuel gauge have to go to get the fuel light to come on???
Ive never seen it come on yet..
