Well, I finally got around to ordering a vanity plate – however; the fine folks at the DMV informed me that everything listed above was already taken, as well as several other backup choices – sooooooooooooooo…

After much mental consternation, trying to think of something befitting the VehiCROSS’ unique appearance, I finally came up with one that WASN’T already taken…

Don't give it a thought, Smiley. I bought my VX on December 7, and ordered my "4X4 UFO" plate on the tenth, but it will still be about two weeks before my plate gets here! Government works sloooooowly in Kentucky!

Strange enough! We may find out that VX ownership is an indicator of many subtle mental similarities.......maybe we need to get "Spooky" Mulder on the case!

yea! i had that same thought.. then i realized that i drive a rare vehicle.. with 18" rims.. a huge roof basket on top with a full sized spare tire and a custom made gigantic light bar on the front... you could pick my vx out of a lineup of silver VXs... so now the only thing stopping my plates from being VX0563 is $50 cost of the plates.. id rather send the money to moncha

I think the uniqueness of our VX is enough, personalized plates cant do any further harm in regards to the above.

Ok can you describe the vehicle that articulated on your hood. Yes officer, it was a yellow Suzuki jeep thing with racing stripes.:p

Sadly, that is a former vehicle. I was in the stoned age back then, and rarely took pix. Here is one that just happened to be near the computer, from after the 455 engine rebuild:

And to allay anyone's fears, when I got the '66 convertable Goat, the original engine had been removed, so I saw no reason not to stuff in a balanced and blueprinted 455;)

The most photgenic the GTO ever was is when I sold it on eBay. First thing I ever listed. A guy came down to San Diego from LA the next day, paid cash, so I ended the auction early...
