I've been looking at these guys (http://www.innate.com) stuff for awhile now. I'm looking at picking up some black chrome from them eventually for my rims... They also have sampler packs.

You can also just use chrome vinyl and wrap them, it's really not that hard and if done right it will look awesome and last a long time. From my experience and research it's almost impossible to get a real mirror chrome finish from rattle can chrome paints. The vinyl looks like the real deal and is removable so if someone wanted to change the color of it, it's as simple as removing the vinyl.

or plasti dip - they have a gloss black and gunmetal now - as soon as i get my proton back the wheels are getting sprayed black but havent decided on matte or gloss yet

.
Just wanted to bump this thread to say a big THANK YOU to Jason for hooking me up with
a beautiful red grill badge! Also a thank you to VX Kat for sending me Jason's way!
These are really well made and I HIGHLY recommend Jason to all the members here, and now off to install it on my Ironman....
X-2...I got one from Kat in Moab...& y'know all the reviews of tha 3 wolf moon T-shirt???
Well almost ALL of that stuff has happened to yours truly, as a result of me receiving said quality merchandise...
I want #2
are you the one that also makes the replacement spare tire cover screw things?
I would like to get #1, is it chrome? If so, that is what I want. I would like to know how to get the ISUZU out of the grille and the VX in, how do you do that?
no, it's painted a bright silver, not true chrome,
Jason was going to look into some Chrome options. Want to contact him first and see if he has a Chrome yet?
See better pictures here: Post #1 and #6 - - It's the one at "10 o'clock"

Removing the ISUZU badge is super easy.
Use a Hairdryer, warm up the badge, use something to start prying it up at one corner but be careful not to scratch the black plastic it's stuck to. Keep heat on it to keep it flexible and the glue pliable. Some use fishing line to slip behind it and pull it up.
Use 3M double stick tape to apply the emblem.
Thanks for the R&R info. I am now thinking I want #7 or #8. How close in color is #7 to the orange lights on the from of the VX? if it is close I will take that one if it is not close I will get #8.
I think a little color would be cool on my Ebony VX.
Is there still a set of the red ones? (#8)
For those of you lucky enough to not only have a Isuzu Vehicross but a 3D printer as well, now you can download & 3D print the infamous "VX" badge or the standard "ISUZU" logo for the grill of your car! Enjoy! :bwgy:

I am still wanting a #7 if you still have one and we can meet in town some time I can buy it from you.
jasonm621: Are you still printing these. I am about to ship my VX to Germany and noticed the "X" portion of my titanium VX had fallen off. I would like to purchase one set of the chrome VX if you still make them! She cant go overseas like that!
So could you print spair tire cover knobs?
Here's the thread and pics of the spare tire knobs.

Are the emblems still available?
I still want the grille badge in orange too.
You need to reach jasonm621. I haven't talked to him in about a year... he's a completely awesome dude. I'll shoot him an email or call him if you have no luck reaching him.
I tried contacting him a couple of times and got no response, I sent a PM and posted here on page 4, he when silent shortly after my last question to him. I did get the tire cover knobs from him at a meet a couple of years ago and the are nice and still work great the old ones fell apart. I hope he is OK.
I recently got two VX logos, proton spare tire screws, and a couple spare tire clips from Jason! Everything was very high quality, I even had the pleasure of meeting Jason as well, he's a great guy so id high recommend getting in touch with him if your interesting in anything that he makes. I attached some images below (hopefully).

Since I'm pretty new to the VX community I read on the forums that a guy by the name of Jason Mooney makes VX grill logos and spare tire screws. I was unsure if he still was making these items since nothing had been posted about them on the forums in a long time. I have been talking to Jason for the last couple weeks or so and I was happy to hear he was still making them! I met him the other day as well, he actually lives pretty close to me. I have nothing but kind words to say about Jason, he even made me the square clips I was missing for the spare tire cover as well! So I've anyone is interested in some VX stuff like this just send him an email, he can be reached at tribalflames621@hotmail.com
