Nice. The finish on my hood scoop gave me trouble too and I ended up getting it line-X'd after messing up the paint job. I don't know how your insert would have looked in CF but the satin black looks nice.

I'm kinda liking it too, I even left just a hint of the weave showing through the bondo...just cuz...:smilewink

And if I decide that my sanity needs another challenge in the future, I've got enough resin to give it a go, + all I'd have ta do is sand it lightly & go...:naughty:
