Religion is just a vehicle that evil people exploit to motivate others to do what they want. It is not in and of itself the problem. The problem is (1) the bad people and (2) the fools that blindly believe anything that their leader/priest/pastor/rabbi/imam tells them to do. That vehicle just needs to be something that a large number of people share in common and are motivated by. For example, Hitler convinced Germans that their common economic problems could be blamed on a small minority of the population and that they deserved to take what they wanted from the rest of the world. If religion didn't exist other motivations would just be substituted.

So i answered in my OWN opinion what my personal answer is. i mentioned that i'm a Christian, and with that comes the territory. You guys obviously know that Christians believe in things that most don't, well i would be a hypocrite if i where to just pick out what i liked n throw away what i didn't. believing in something full heartedly does not work that way. you are ether fully in or fully out, in what ever UR believe is. I'm very shocked on how many people got offended or took it the wrong way , again I'm sorry if it came out wrong, but I'm not sorry for what i believe. If the info i posted is by any means false, then please proof me wrong and i would gladly accept correction n acknowledge my wrong. The topic of religion is not what i wanted to ever get in to, for I know many Hate religion, or others points of view. I agree with the end of Jo's post. The beginning was a little off topic though. In reference to the OP, negativity breeds negativity.
I have to admit the specific analogy was lost on me though seeing as how Coastie actually has pictures of taking his rig off-road right in his signature at the bottom of each of his posts.
Everyone is of course entitled to an opinion, but when that opinion starts referring to what's real when one of those realities is staring you right back in the face the entire time...

Jo - I see what you were trying to do...But I see faults.
Coastie says "Rally VX" not Rock Climbing VX which would line up with your "beat it up..over rocks and ledges" comment. I think it is obvious he isn't one that took the rock climbing route, but has his own individual look in mind. And he also has a few pictures on here of a little bit of dirt play. Play those factors alongside the fact that until recently he has not been too active on here and you would have to think maybe his VX life isn't portrayed on here as much as others, and there may just be more "off-road" evidence outside of this site.
But seriously insult his rig and him personally - that is way out of line in this VX family, from what I have seen over the years. That should not be accepted. If what he says offends you then state your case, not take it personal. I have noticed more than once all he has ever said to you was how he looks up to you with your mods and what do you do? The opposite and insult and call them/him strange.
But I am pretty sure all of this should be common sense to you and you are now well aware after his comment, where he had full ability to backlash at you, that he is the better man for keeping his cool.

The world has always been screwed up and it will always be screwed up. Yep, it's a good idea to educate yourself on "what's going on" - I do that myself. But, please don't it worry about it too much. I've lived my entire life hearing that Doomsday is right around the corner and so did the generations before me. Maybe it's right around the corner, maybe it isn't. I've learned it's best to not let it stress you out and affect your health and happiness. No matter what, worrying about "what might happen" will not change what might happen. Roll with the punches and live life to the fullest.
Not implying anything, just offering cheap advice. :)

Well it was quite a few posts ago now, but I do want to clarify what I was saying...I'm not saying religion = bad, I am saying that we 'mericans should be aware that many people's idea of God and religion will vary widely from yours, so the concept of "get right with God" is subject to vast variance in interpretation and implementation, some of them detrimental to us and our way of life. Christians are outnumbered on Earth, after all...
