Unfortunately I was only able to get one picture that came out decent.

Triathlete (Billy & Regina), Circmand (Dave), SilverBullet75 (Jim), and Chas711usa (Charles).
Sorry guys... I got distracted with all our story telling that I didn't take anymore pics!
It was great to finally meet all of you!

I t was very enjoyable
Well worth the hour and a half drive each way. I enjoyed meeting everybody and the food was great even if our server stopped refilling our drinks long before we cleared out.

Made it home tonight in one piece!
Spent yesterday afternoon walking the Vegas strip and taking pics...you know, the typical tourist stuff (man those guys trying to hand you crap at every corner are annoying...really wanted to punch them after the first dozen or so). On the way back today took a dam tour of the dam! Found out they give military (active and former) a big discount...was a nice surprise. Of course that was after the national security agency made me return my weapon to my vehicle...damn those 2 inch swiss army knives (forgot I even had it):bwgy: Apparently they didn't want me to "McGyver" the dam into rubble.
While there of course I had that little race to do...went nearly as well as I wanted it to. Mother nature decided that the hardest North American Ironman distance race wasn't hard enough and threw a little wind in our faces (of course the crack smoking weather man gauranteed 5 mph winds...I think he missed the "0" at the end on his cue card)! But I survived and have the t-shirt to prove it!:bwgy: Threw down an 11:48 which was good enough for 18th overall and 3rd in my agegroup!
Thanks again for the lunch date! It was nice to meet, chat, eat and put some more faces to the screen names!:yesy:

After a quick 112 jaunt over every hill in the area and a 26.2 mile run over the hills that were missed on the bike (the race director is a bit sadistic) the dust had settled and...

Then, the following day it was time to make the trip home with a few stops on the way.
The new bridge that bypasses the Hoover dam...
