Me THREE!...:bomb:...:disturbed
I like too many different types of music to have a favorite band, song, or flavour of jello

radar love by Golden Earing......the best go fast song ever
Rockin Down The Highway....Doobie Brothers
Pretty much anything by Theory of a Deadman or Alterbridge.

What about all the great country songs:
Honky Tonk - Trace Adkins
Here For The Party - Gretchen Wilson
Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way - Waylon
No News - Lonestar
10-4 Good Buddy!!! My Tavern's jukebox has only 70's/80's Classic Rock and Modern Country. Whenever I see undesirables enter my bar, I quickly crank-up the twangyist Country Music I have. It's like "kryptonite" to a gang-banger wannabe. They quicky turn into the Wicked Witch of the East-- I'm melting.........melting.........melting.
I like whacking up the volume on 'War Pigs' by 'Black Sabbath' great driving tune !
"you don't know what you're missing if you ignore country."
'Rock my world little country girl' by Brooks n Dunn
That one always gets me going
Strange since I married a big city girl (but I'm slowly corrupting her):)
I figured I'd slowly mention country music. Some people look at it like a disease. And I didn't even mention my love for Mearle, Waylon, Willie, etc. But believe me if I had to chose it would be good ole 70's ROCK N ROLL. Boston, Doobies, Aerosmith, BTO, ELO, Queen, Alan Parsons, Styx, and on and on.
The reaction is priceless tho when you pull up next to some kid blaring ICP well into the distortion ... roll down the window ... & crank up the Dillards playing 'old home place' (that's bluegrass for those who're too snooty to recognize good music):)
Personally I can not stand country...but I won't hold that against you!:bwgy:
I am sure there are just as many who dislike my music choices. I listen to 70's, 80's, 90's and current punk, new wave, rock, metal and pretty much anything else that I can scream along to...its good therapy and keeps me mellow! http://forum.planetisuzoo.com/images...s/headbang.gif
Stole it from elsewhere!http://forum.planetisuzoo.com/images...ottytrain2.gif
I love what I read in this thread Slipknot, Five finger death punch, Atreyu, punk music, Sabbath, and my local band 36 Crazy Fists! Add some Stone Sour, Down, Tool, Pink Floyd, and some Modest Mouse and those are my tunes right there!
But as far as the best driving tunes, I have to say Offspring, either album Smash or Ignition.... just hit play
*Warning this has led to a couple of my speeding tickets* :bwgy:
Alaska...how 'bout a thread to give a little update. Where does this bad boy stand?Quote:
2000 Ironman Project LS-1 VX... very slow progress but someday....... ohhhhh someday......

Yup, local Alaskans. Thay play a lot here in Anchorage, in fact I think they have an outdoor concert this weekend at the bar! :_beer:
Triathelete The project has really gone nowhere for a year as I am trying to buy a house (place to work on it). Only there isn't anything I am interested in yet, at least in my price range.
If I remember right all that was mostly left to do was wiring (everything...Coach just cut it all!) and I think drive shafts. Is that about right?
"Break stuff" Limp Bizkit ..... by far the best driving song
:dan_ban::dan_ban::dan_ban::dan_ban: oh and I wanted to try out these dancing bananas Ive been hearing about
I have to re-route some of the power steering piping to get out of the way of the pulley's/belt, replace a pulley or 2, driveshafts, brakes, do all the wiring, fabwork under the hood to make room for the radiator, etc, etc..... and then once I get it all together I hope I don't have engine problems, as he didn't know the condition of the engine.
Cool, thanks for the update...now back to our regularly scheduled program!
:ot::hj: SORRY!:bwgy:

Steppenwolf -- Born to be Wild
I know...showing my age, too.
Hey, Crotchrocket, I fired up Black Sabbath on my turntable just last week. Some Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, and Iron Butterfly, too. Good stuff!!
What is this "turn table" that you speak of????:_wtf:
Anyone ever checked out DredZeppelin? Nothing like an Elvis impersonator singing Zep songs to a Reggae beat!:bwgy:
This is the latest state-of-the-art digital Hi-Fi surround-sound turn table (aka record player)

What's a "record"?

Oh, so that's what a "record" is. I always thought is was a certain feat that was broken in sports and statistics. Thanx for the clarification.
Owner of a lonely heart by Yes....or the Buggles (Video killed the radio star) who they really were by that time.

You all aren't going to belive this, but way back, I had a car phonograph. It fit under the dash and played records. You had to buy special records for it cause it didn't play a regular 33 1/3. The stylus (the arm with the needle that sets on the record) had a big rubber band to put over it so it didn't bounce when you drove over a bump. Now back to the thread subject. I really enjoy listening to "Born to be Wild", There's A New Kid in Town"by the Eagles, and I Dreamed A Dream (Susan Boyle, Brittain's Got Talent).
New Five Finger Death Punch CD came out today.
It includes a remix of "bad company".
This will be my driving CD for the next month or so until it is joined by Atreyu's new CD.

I don't know what it is, but I added this tune to my Zune last week and it came of in my car the other night when I was driving over to my lady friend's house. It was VERY dangerous. I consider it bad timing. ;) :bgwo:

One of those "mood" tunes ya know.
Also, if you have not heard of her, check out Chan Marshall. Sick sick sick. She was clearly born in the wrong era but at least she keeps that solid female vocal of early days alive and well.... and she is just amazingly beautiful.
