It may be leaking when engine is on but so slowly that there is no trace. Weep hole was designed just for that reason - overnight it'll leave a puddle. Make sure it isn't the coolant manifold where the top hose connects that isn't leaking - for more likely. I have a used water pump if that turns out to be the prob.
ANy pics of coolant manifold ? Is this under intake manifold at front of motor or is it visible?
I am still under warranty adn am scheduled for a littel road trip to nearest Isuzu to me since two others have folded. Just want to be sure I can narrow down likely culprits before they tear her down and say all it is this and oh, sorry not covered. I knwo H20 pump is covered if the weap issue is my problem. I only get leak from behaind timing gear and out bottom of the timing cover.
VXNIT - Did you ever take it into the dealer in Sanford, what was the outcome?
Also, do you have any pics of the leak itself?
I've got to make a trip to Sanford due to a powertrain issue (I think) so it'll help to know what their level of expertise and sense of customer service is.
