I agree with John - I've read a whole lot of reviews, and most are a lot more favorable than not.
As for the FX45, it's just different. I like the power of it, the rest I pretty much prefer the VX from stem to stern. I had one (well, could've been a FX35 too, not sure) wanting to race me a while back, and I knew better. LOL! And if you ask me, just the fact that they felt they needed to prove anything to me spoke volumes. Yeah, it's fast, but I still have no question about what I'd rather have. In fact, I never wanted an SUV before, and I still pretty much don't want any other SUV out there but this one. Others are plenty nice, but this is the whole package and the only one for me.

Couldn't agree more. I'm not a SUV(stupid useless vehicle) person either. And I also know better than to get in a pissing match with a FX. Just hits me in a cool spot ya know? SuV with the sport squared and the utility an illusion. Don't want another suv Really don't think of the VX as a suv Just a tripped out specialty car see ya soon bedtime I got cars to paint in the AM Chopper A.K.A. Wayne

Hey Chopper,
The only Automobile Magazine I've been able to find with the VX was the Feb 1994 issue regarding the prototype. Do you have the issue that refers to the actual production model?

I could really go for a two-door version of the FX45. I'm not too hot on the retro interior styling, but I could live with it. I was a little bummed to see that the BMW X3 was still a 4-door.
