The VX has both the advantage and disadvantage of the IFS. Very smooth over bumpy roads compared to solid axle. I go offroading / mudding with lots of peeps all of which have solid front axle and even though they blow by me in the mud with their 36" to over 60" tractor tires, I always blow by them in stock form over bumpy / rocky surfaces as the all cannot speed over those types of surfaces which the VX does comfortably!!!
