I'd still like to know why my idea for compensating the site according to how much personal usage an individual takes advantage of was dismissed so quickly. I have to say, that was very convenient. Since the concept of what is fair has been utilized so often for justification in these types of threads though, doesn't it seem fair that someone who has thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of posts should be more obligated to provide a higher level of contribution?
Even those with some of the levels of comprehension that have been exhibited here probably understand by now why their electrical bills are higher when they turn on their light switches and heaters/air-conditioners more often...or their home computers to visit their most visited websites for that matter. ;)
I'm very aware how most these days find it easier to buy their way into favor, but personally, I'm still a firm believer that exchanging ideas, knowledge, and simply answering a question to help another when I'm able still counts for something...as opposed to not wanting to be bothered, and instead just directing someone to the search function.
No need to name any names, but I still find it VERY convenient that the member of this site with THE highest post count is always going out of his way to "encourage" others to subsidize and ensure the longevity of an activity in which he obviously devotes SO much of his time.

But, I've explained all of this before, yet here we are again. It's one thing to be over-qualified, but it's something else entirely to apparently bask in being under-qualified. :yesgray:
