SHOT SHOW...
Really nothing to report... The industry is tanking... Since Obama didn't reinstate the Assault Weapons ban the companies and industry are trying to recover from the mass orders, and inflated prices.
Basically a bunch of mom and pop shops over ordered every semi auto imaginable before Obama took office... Then there was a major shortage, they couldn't keep guns on the shelves, so they kept ordering... orders went to back orders... The ban never went through... Finally their orders came... And no one is buying.
Hasn't been any real innovation in the past few years. Looks like the Masada / ACR is finally coming out... Umarex has released the HK MP5, and 416 in .22LR (very very cool) But over all... *Yawn*
The show was in a smaller venue, LE now makes up 65% of the show, when it used to be ~20% but the Black gun industry is the least stable. So now companies are trying to push Black gun HUNTING... Using ARs, and other black guns for Deer hunting etc. Kind of weird... If you need semi auto to kill a deer... you probably shouldn't be out there (MO)
Still fun to go browse the show though.

Wow, well, serves all the paranoid red necks right. I mean, a year ago I was seeing people wheel PALETS of .223 and 7.62 out of the guns shows and paying ASKING PRICE which was ridiculously inflated to begin with. I actually went to two gun shows here last summer and turned around and walked out before I even got in line because it was STUPID crowded.
I mean, sure, there was cause for concern when a dem got elected, but jesus people, take it down a notch!
