what is the best year to look for ?

did anyone mention the 99s have a tendancy to use oil more often the the 00s or 01s?

Well; if Proton is your favorite color, then you've automatically narrowed your choices down to either a 2000 or a 2001 model (Proton wasn't available in 1999).
