I have a Canon ZR miniDV videocamera, which I've used to successfully upload video (and audio) of my muffler upgrade. So I know that it is vehicross.info-friendly!
Man, it would be nice to have my windows fixed before summer...

Hi everyone - what's the BEST way to permanently fix the binding window problem?
Both windows on my 99 VX keeps coming off the rail. I open door and adjust. Works once or twice and slips off AGAIN. Car is at mechanic now and I'd like to tell him best way to PERMANENTLY fix this (he doesn't get a ton of VX's there). I don't want him to just put the window on the rail and charge me for that. I heard somewhere on this board that you need to install a slightly longer track, drill holes in it, and attach the window that way? Can't recall specifics??

No, I didn't get new tabs because I don't think mine are broken, I just wonder if that might work out to be a more permanent fix. It's looking like we might not be moving for a few more months, so I've got a little more time to play with. If you think we can fix it permanently without changing the tabs, I'd rather save the money.Quote:

He has the steel tabs so that will be covered also.
