thats cool, sweet, thanx Ldub.
I am getting 17-18 on trips with cruise on, about 14 around town..I am stock except 265-60-18 I think they are 29"-30"? I just got gps nav and I will check my MPH and tripmeter. Tony B
My '99 is bone stock and I get 16.8 to 17.5 in mostly city driving.
I'd like to know how the guys with turbo/super chargers fair in the gas wars? It can't be good. Single digits? I didn't notice any posts from anyone who has made that mod, but I'd like to.

I'm supercharged and have mine posted above. I don't really notice much of a change - if anything I'm getting better mileage.

Compensating for larger tires, I get rougly 12-13mpg on 93oct with the S/C. But I also only put about 2k miles on it a year. :p
i avg close to 15-19 mpg. i have 33 in nitto terra graps, flowmaster 40 series exhaust, light bar on roof. plus a few other things
On highway trips with the cruise set @ 65 I average a bit over 17.5, but kickin' it around town it's about 10-12...the S/C has turned me into an even more hopeless acceleration junkie.:rolleyesg.:smilewink
I'm supercharged, 3"+ lift on 33" tires, Amsoil syn in everything...even blinker fluid.
15mpg 255/55/18 terra grapplers.. no lift no intake synthetic oil
Twelve mpg combined. All stock but for Yokohama Geolanders and Pioneer AVIC-N2 with amped subwoofer. VX is a gas and oil junkie, but I'm the enabler. I could get better mileage by coasting to stop lights.
14 to 15 combined, depending. I got 19 on a recent motorway (highway) run. All of those are mpg(US) rather than mpg(Imp) - you guys have longer miles or something... ;)
Its a bit of a shock after my Yaris diesel that averaged 48mpg(US) and with fuel prices at well over $2/litre its something of a wallet stretcher but I knew all thsi when i bought it so...

I have 2 VX's a 2000 Proton and a 2001 Dragon. The Proton runs stock rubber in the summer months and 31/10.50X15 with Rock Crawler wheels in the winter. The Dragon has Nitto 285/60X18 Terra Grabbers. With corrections for the difference in tire sizes, the Proton is getting 14 with the winter blend of gas. In the summer with the stock tires on I was getting 18. The Dragon is getting 14.5 adjusted milage. I haven't had it long enough to give a summer reading yet. The only modification to the Proton is a K&N drop in filter. The Dragon has a Green drop in.
