Aw bummer...I was thinkin "man, I gotta get me some diff drop brackets before I leave" :)
It's not so much the difficulty as the fact that, from an engineering standpoint, dropping the front axle is way more of a PITA than it has to be...it just wasn't designed for frequent maintenance.
If you can convince/sucker a buddy to help you when it comes time to drop the brackets and center axle section, you'll find the project a lot easier. Plan for a full day, especially the first time.
For those going to Moab, I have a good set of oem front shocks, rear lower links (one slightly bent but easy to fix) and a new front cladding for sale that I could deliver. If interested throw me a pm.
