Meet in Northern NJ?

I'd love to organize a casual meet possibly catch a bite to eat or a drink some where...anyone in the NNJ Bergen county/Rockland county,NY area want to meet and share VX talk/stories/ our trucks?

I might be game, but I work evenings and saturday, any sunday works for me though!

Weekends sound perfect until X-mas time, then I'm putting in serious OT at work-give me a date/time/place!!

I'm up for a meet!...Lets do it before it gets cold, cause I love to drive my VX with the top down! .....Count me in, it will be my first meet. Even though I wk on weekends I will take a day off. Just say when!

I just wanted to say thanks to all that responded for a casual NNJ meet!

Its apparent that everyone has different schedules so let me post some possible times and everyone please write back and let us know which ones might work for you.

I realize that this weekend might be tough for some due to halloween, but lets try.......

Breakfast people please respond with the earliest time you could get your self over to the Bergen County, NNJ area...also if anyone has a suggestion we need a diner with a nice parking lot where we can meet. Possibly fortlee / englewood paramus areas so not far from the GW bridge for those traveling to meet us!
THIS WILL LEAVE EVERYONES DAY OPEN FOR FAMILY ETC...!!!

Friday night may be too dark for people to travel. Sat/sun people are preparing for Halloween...HMMM,,, just really speaking for myself its not a good weekend for me, maybe the following or even the one after...

I knew its a tough weekend.

I have a condo renovation project I do weekends up in the catskills so after this weekend I will not be around much. But, who knows....

I'm still open to meeting anyone who wants to grab breakfast this Sat or Sun am in NNJ. Even a few memebers getting together to share VX would be fun!!!

I'd love to come and see everyone's VX's again, but I work all day Sat and early Sunday morning (till 9a) and then church till about 11:30ish. Any way we can do a Sunday afternoon? I can't do this week though (ripping out my entire ceiling this weekend -- fun fun fun!) If you guys do get together, be sure to post pics!

I don't think a weeknight would go over well if your trying to get a big turn-out. Also, a night meet won't allow us to really see and apprieciate each others VX's..

I know a night meet isnt ideal, but i'm away weekends and thought its better than not. Yes we'll get less VX's and the photo ops will be limited, but the good fod and conversation can make up for it. Maybe I should call it a mini-meet???!!!

OK we have 2 so far me and Chrissepwoz..barring bad weather lets schedule this in our books for This Tues 8 pm somewhere on rt 4 or rt 17! We just need to find a place to sit chat and eat with a well lit parking lot!

Weekend would be better, people are traveling for the meet and must take into considerartion that if we meet at 8, what time will we possibly get home after socializing and traveling, on top of getting up for work early the next morning, and also like i said previously, how can you appreciate anyones mods in the dark, and be able to take pics and post on the board,.,,, i'm excited about a meet, but it has to be a weekend so it will accomodate most members..

Since no one has made a comitment to meet tonight I'm calling it off.
I am not avaiable weekends so someone else will have to organize a weekend meet.
If anyone in the future wants to meet some weekday evening just to eat and chat let me know. Of course it not the best time to see mods on the VX's but I thought food, drink and conversation would be just as much fun.

I am upstate NY weekends so not around for a meet. I had tried a local eveing meet but no one commited to it so ......someone else needs to take the ball and run with it on the weekend!

I'm in Liberty NY weekends renovating condos. That is actually more west than north. But I'd be up for a meet in that area. I'm 15 min from the Monticello Race track where they have installed video slots and soon to build a casino!
I could even invite everyone over to my complex for a sauna, steam, jacuzzi and swim in the indoor pool!

Sounds like a good plan.. Let's see if we can shake some more VX's out of the trees for that. I'll need about a weeks notice to arrange a weekend off from my Retail management job...but that's easy to do.
