I just ordered them and was hoping I didn't have to cut?
I was worried about the same thing, because post here have shown various sizes with and without cutting. I just gutted the idea about cutting and bought the 275/65/17's anyway. Only you will notice the cutting (if you have to).
I have 285/75/16 with a 2" lift and had to do a little bit of trimming in front. Unoticeable unless you stuck your head inside the fender well. 285/75/16 is 1.5" taller and 1" wider than 275/70/16. So if your car has no lift, I would imagine that you would have to do about the same amount of trimming. It's very easy to cut and just take your time and trim a little bit at a time.
Good luck!
Not to worry...trimming is so easy & minimal (you could do it with a steak knife if ya had to) Here's a pic of what needs to be trimmed (originally posted by member Ron Pfeiffer) really not noticable to anyone who didn't know it was trimmed.Quote:

What did you use to cut it with? (besides steak knife)
I used a Japanese finish saw, but a hacksaw, dremel tool, wood saw or similar will work.Quote:
