Tod Light!

My "TOD" "CHECK" light recently was going on periodically. I would park the car overnight and when I would wake up for work it would be fine. This seemed to happen at highway speeds or after about 20 minutes of city driving. I just got the call from my dealer and the transfer case is bad!!!. He said it is under warranty ($2200.00). He also added that if I drive it it could lock up. Does anyone know if this could be true? I only need to drive about 6 miles to work and back he said it should be alright. If the transfer case was bad shouldn't the TOD light be on all the time?

Drive it - IF is locks up (highly unlikely) then call Isuzu roadside assistance and have them tow it to that dealer.

wow, 2200 bucks, THANKS CERAMI ISUZU for the free case!.. you guys SUCK! I dropped like 600 for an alignment and transfer case service.

I have a spare TOD unit still attached to my old tranny. It worked perfectly when removed
