rear/door cladding

I went home for lunch while the VX is at home. I tried to get something from the rear, but the door would not open freely. I shut it and noticed that the left cladding just under the door is loose a bit. It looks like a tape holds it altogether. The adhesion wore out a little bit.

Question: Can I just super glue this part (about 3inches worth)? Is there a better way?

Go to your local auto paint supply and get body moulding double side tape.. That would do it the best.. IMHO

Thanks Scott. I bought the tape and for some reason the darn thing does not want to adhere solidly. It's stuck enough to where I can open the door just fine. Anyway, I'll try again today.

It's becoming a nuisance now how the tape is not sticking. Is there a particular brand I need to get? I can't open the rear door without pushing in the cladding.

I got really tired of that happening to mine, so.....I drilled a hole through it and bolted it together with a very small bolt and big washer. no probs now :rolleyes:
