Just noticed last night while parking on a hill my VX wants to roll forward while in reverse. Never had this issue before and have parked on this hill for years without any problems like this. Usually when you release the brake with the VX in reverse the car stays put, now she rolls and you have to gass it before it rams the car in front of you. Wierd :waag:. Any ideas? :wtfb:
Sounds like you're either low on ATF or the governor in the tranny is sticking/blocked. Easiest thing to do is check your tranny fluid. Refer to the Service Manual for procedure or if you just want to go ahead and service it while your there I've got some directions here: Joe Black's VX Site.

Seems not enough ATF was installed on my last service interval. All is well now. Not sure why it took nearly 9 months to surface, but in any event I gained valuable experience from the incident :yes: Thanks for the info.
