A sad..... SAD day
Stopped by the body shop where my VX is to see how the repairs are coming. They are going to total it, due to damage not seen while the cladding was on and other items missed. So far... $12,000 to repair it. (sniff sniff). I will be looking at buying it back and scrapping it, so keep an eye out.

Bummer. Huge Bummer.
.
I'm not totally surprised .... not after discovering a wrecked Proton I saw this summer was totaled ...... it did not look bad ....

Hey Crager34
Sorry to hear about that. If you want to compile a list of people wanting parts, put me down for very back lower cladding (if not damaged). When the time comes my email is Boheri@prodigy.net
Opps! Just saw your pics......that the piece I was thinking about. Forget the top part...GOOD LUCK!

If you decide to go the 'non VX' route, I would be interested in your roof rack 'stuff' .........

...
it took over $17,000 to fix my 2001 Ironman when I rolled it and my insurance company didn't total it...and they even paid for my rental for 2 and a half months while it was getting fixed;Dp;
sorry on your loss....If you do part it out, I'll take dibs on your stock front shocks and I need a new passenger front seat, rear inside black plastic interior panels, and rear door plastic big screws that hold the spare tire cover on.
-
Looking at your gallery pics, your seats are the grey/black ones? I'd be interested in *both* front seats.
-
Hey Crager34,
I need the passenger side rear quarter cladding and the Passenger door cladding if you have them available for sale. If you are not going to keep the vehicle, can you let me know where it goes so that I can attempt to get those parts.
Thanks,
Neal

Too bad it's in Japan - it's opening bid is less than $200.
