I need new tires for my VX. Can anyone recommend something that rides good in snow and looks snazzy? I've been eyeing the Yoko Geolander G052's. How big can I go without trimming the cladding?
Thanks for the input.

I have a set of the G052 in 285/60. Great tire so far, but I only got them in the spring and cannot comment on the snow handling. Mine will probably not be so good, as everytime you go wider, the worse the snow traction gets. I had to trim, but the dremel did the hard part, and looking at the bumper, you'd be hard pressed to tell.
I got some BFG's that are 275/75 on my '00 and did minimal trimming. They look great and fill up the wheel well quite nice. As for the trimming...if you didnt know what it looked like before you wouldnt be able to tell the difference after.
I run on Toyos(street tire), but being your in Jersey I'm guessing you want a all weather tire.
I used to live there, the weather can get crappy.;)
