and right around this time, it was not uncommon to see someone place a car body ........ 68 Camaro ....... Cadillac ........ Gremlin ..... yes, even a Gremlin body .........whatever on top of a 4wd chassis ........ an early Bronco chassis for example ........

another neat trick was to replace the rear end with a front end ..... and then be able to steer both the front and rear of the vehicle ..... and this would enable the vehicle to drive down the road 'sideways' ....... (crude primitive 4 wheel steer) .......
.
many also 'shortened' 3/4 ton trucks ........ cut the frame, driveshaft ...... and have a 3/4 ton 6 ft bed truck .............

seems like the flux capacitor is working in reverse for me today ....... Doc ........ Doc ! .........
