squeeking breaks

Just got new ones, cross drilled slotted, new pads....yes, I put that stuff(not sure what you call it) between the caliper and pad to reduce noise.

They have been squeeking, thought it was a build up of break dust. Simple Green cleaning(twice), still squeek.....any thoughts?

Going to bring it back to where I got them installed on Thursday to see what they can do, but I'm guessing not much.

My aftermarket slotted rotors moan initially until they get warmed up... performance rotors and pads tend to do that.

I'm past the moaning stage, I was thinking to switching to ceramic(sp?) pads, would that help?

What pads do you have on? I replaced mine with ones I got in japan, from N1.

They're decent, lifetime warentee....metalic/carbon I think.
