Finally getting around to bringing it back to life-

I decided I needed to finally take care of the truck, its been in storage for years. Needed CV's, balljoints, calipers, brake dust shields (back ordered in japan, so I went a different route). Also decided to cover the entire thing in fluid film for winter... sloppy stuff. Pics at the link below.

The brake dust covers are for a Tahoe or something - found them on amazon. Needed to drill new holes, but they are holding up and seem to be similar enough.. had to cut some metal for the ABS sensor. GM Genuine Parts 15704500 Front Passenger Side Brake Shield.

My old ones were disintegrated.

Love driving this truck... but the rust in Michigan is just impossible to stop. Next year im going to try and find a VX from out west with a blown motor/tranny with no rust, and use it as my summer truck.
