Need your guys opinon/help...

My Girlfriend is looking to get a bigger truck she has a 99 CRV currently.

We went to Isuzu and are looking at Troopers, but Isuzu is doing kinda of bad and I am worried about the effects if any that this might cause.

So first off does any one have a Trooper and are there any problems with it?
Is it Safe my Girlfriend has a child.

Secondly do you think there is a better SUV
that might fit the bill?

I appreciate you guys opinion and help in this situation.

You might want to ask them as well. I know several VX owners also own troopers, but there will be way more trooper owners on the wire.

Don’t forget about the Axiom - they haven’t moved very well so they are more likely to deal on them - I saw a new ‘01 at my dealer last week...

I traded in my '92 Trooper for the VX. Had it for 8 years. it was a bit wallowy in the twisties and slightly underpowered, but it was off-road-capable, reliable, quiet, smooth and commodious. My wife still misses it - especially after each ride in the VX;)

Well we went and ran some numbers at the dealership...
We are upside-down 5,500 on the loan on the CRV
So the balance to roll that into the cost.

Isuzu currently is offering $4,000 in incentives.

02 Trooper S 21,549 + 5,500 in the roll over.
comes to about 540 a month.

also drove 02 Rodeo LS they might be able to get us a better deal on them around 460 a month.

The Rodeo drove much nicer than the Trooper kinda like the VX.

So we think we might go for the Rodeo but are not sure.

Any opinions on what to do?

I think the Rodeo would be an excellent choice. A friend has a 2000 and praises its' many virtues....Good Luck:D
