Roof top tent installed!
Ala the Facebook page VEHICROSSAmerica, I went with the Tepui Ayer tent in blue with a 4'x6' awning out the back and the annex to have some stand-up private space.
Brad at Rock Creek Offroad in San Marcos, TX ( http://rockcreekoffroad.com/ ) is an awesome dude and he & his wife jumped through hoops for me to get the tent, have it assembled, and install it on my way to the Tudor & WEC races at Circuit of the Americas.
I love it so much. I plan on taking road trips to National Parks, and now I have a built-in home away from home! Too cool, and now the VX gets even MORE attention, which is good for my travel business.

what kind of roof rack do you have to support the roof top tent? I have the standard Yakima for the VX and it says weight capacity is only up to 110 pounds.
