shocked! about shocks

Called to order some rancho 5000 from the self-touted "largest 4 x 4 parts dealer in the country"4 wheel parts. Ask them what size shock would fit on the VX. Got an ultra snobby guy who answers, "I have no idea". Great. He tells me they dpon't carry anything for my vehicle in the way of suspension or shocks and to call pro comp, as they could size them for me. Didnt offer the number to Rancho. I called and the guy there basically said he had no idea either.

Does nayone know the part number for our vehicles for after market shocks, either the pro comp 9000 or the ranch 5000? I am having absolutely no luck cross referencing this and I deperately need shocks. Any help on this, or just tell me where you got yours and if they were helpful.

They are the same size as the trooper!
As a matter of fact, I put trooper shocks under my VX(smoothen the ride while the wife is pregnant) and they fit perfectly!
I think I like them more than the Ranchos(not too soft) and much less pricey!
