So far the only real issue I've heard about the rancho's that may cause anyone not to want them is that they can't be made any stiffer then the stock shocks, but everyone seemed to say they were just as stiff, worked really well and had the added bonus of being able to make them less stiff (ie: bouncier ride).
I'm wondering too... plus, you can purchase the remote module and adjust the ride from in the cabin.
