Do not exist? I can't imagine they all just stopped existing. I doubt if it is even VX specific. Try Isuzuparts.com. You may have to order but they can still get parts from Japan just a lobg wait.
I called Isuzuparts.com and they said backorder with no ETA:mad:
I would find a used one at a junkyard (Troopers have the same gearbox) or have a shop make one for you. I've always heard there are plenty of shops around that can make custom power steering hose for a decent price.
You may need to try several parts places.
I recently found that Advanced Auto & Auto Zone both do not list a certain Serpentine Belt ... but NAPA does ... go figger.
It's probably the same hose for Troopers/Amigos/Rodeos.
Think I found one, old dealer in the area found one in Tennessee. Other shop I'm working with (another old isuzu dealer) was shocked I found it.
I got my on ebay for $45/shipped. Seemed nice enough. Probably not as good as OEM, but then again, OEM hose failed (leaked at the crimp), so I am not sure this was actually inferior.
Leon,
do you know who you bought it from?
This thread has all the PN's and some of the vendors.

I am not sure who I used, at this point.
Thx for the reply. Unfortunately I need the line that goes from the gearbox to the resvoir. In same boat as evilcutter
You're talking about the Return Hose right, not the high pressure hose or feed hose.

I've ordered my two transmission cooler lines from them last year with no problems.
Part Number: 8-97178-427-1 Feed Hose
Part Number: 8-97216-180-3 Pressure Hose
Part Number: 8-97171-952-2 Return Hose (Old Part Number was: 8-97171-952-1) - I guess this one? As it goes to the Gear Box.

Yep, part #8-97171-952-2. number 20 in the image https://www.partswebsite.com/stores/...s4/4628215.gif
When I called he said it was back ordered and no ETA. I did find one in Tennessee (I think).
For future reference.....how do I know what parts are interchangeable?
Good luck finding it...
As for interchangeable... That's the difficult part. I usually look for the original part number on the part catalog I link on other post, and search it. It's just time consuming to do your research on a part # and find if there were any revisions to the part that also had a part # change...
Thx. Link didn't work for me. If the one from TN doesn't work I'll definitely buy the one for Acura.
Fixed the link... And I was looking at those prices... OUCH!
