Yep, I'll be increasing the torque to my wheels by about 81% when I'm done. I think the rear will be fine but the CVs are going to an even more exposed as the weak link. If you do the same mods at least you'll have a solid front axle to rely on. If my calculations are correct you'll see a 73% increase from stock with the AR5/5.38 combo and 114% adding the rev gears to that. I wouldn't suggest taking up hockey though at this point in your life.
Are my calcs correct? 1st gear * TC * diff = final gear ratio, and (final gear ratio - stock gear ratio)/ stock gear ratio = percentage of change
