I have had a PV1 on the VehiCross ever since I got it way back in '04, but I need to change mufflers now and would like to go back to something similar to stock.
Can someone give me the dimensions on the stock muffler? 2.25" pipe in and out, with offset to the same side on both ends, correct? But what is the length of the body of the muffler itself? Thanks :-)

Yes..2.5 in/out same side.
Muffler is 20.5 inches long, and 13 inches wide...seam to seam.

You got to love when you're thinking of getting something for the VX and then you see a new thread about it. One question, was the 2.25" an id or an od dimension?
Well I crawled under there and measured the pipe by just eyeballing it with a tape measure and it looked like 2.25" in and out to me, but the PV1 I have on there looks more like 2.5" in and 3" out, so I got the 2.5" in and out and will have a muffler shop modify it to make it work. I am sure it won't be a problem.

I just measured the in / out pipes...
...and I got 2 inches

I have a muffler OFF the car...so its pretty accurate IMO.
My bad..should of measured that when I did actual muffler dimensions.
