Looking for: stock air intake parts

Hey all.

So my VX has this Dragon air intake kit that was on when I got it. I keep it cleaned regularly, but unfortunately it makes my engine (and engine compartment...Bartman can attest to how hot the hood and fender get!) run really hot at low and rock crawling speeds. Especially here in CO where there's less air to cool with in the first place, especially at 10,000 feet or more on the fun trails.

So if anyone knows of one around or has a complete stock air intake up to the engine (with or without MAF...I think mine's ok) I'd be interested in talking about buying or trading.

Have you tried making a shroud around it to keep out the hot engine air? And are you sure that is the cause of your overheating? Lot of overheating problems have been solved by replacing the fan clutch.
