I love the way the hood scoops look on the hood inserts. The carbon fiber inserts with the built in scoops look about the best that I've seen. Any ideas where they are being sold? If no longer available, any trusted sites where compatible scoops are still sold? Thanks again!
They aren't being sold anymore. I had to buy another VX in Nov. just to get one of the originals ;)
i looked into making one with a scoop like the subaru wrx's have ($50 - $250) and some vinyl wrap ($100?) - doesnt seem that difficult... but i never did so what do i know
it seemed to me that the stick on scoops are cheaper than the ones you have to sand and paint but they look really junky - i was thinking a stick on with the vinyl wrap would make it look more professional - like it was molded as one piece

There are not many places around that will do the Carbon Fiber "correctly". I put correctly in quotes because there is a "cheap" way to do it and "the way" to do it. Using Water Printing Technology is "the way" to go. In addition to the carbon fiber, the part is then Clear Coated (4 coats) and buffed to a showroom shine. Yes, they can also do your hood scoop in carbon fiber. I was just saying that I don't know where to PURCHASE a hood scoop, but once you do I know where to have it done with CF if you are interested.

and that water printing is cool ive seen it before but not in person
also i didnt realize it was carbon fiber they were using - some people say carbon fiber but what they are talking about is a plastic made to look like carbon fiber... aka our door panels - either way its only a matter of time before someone gets in the vat naked
