Security system beeper? Is that an aftermarket part? I don't recall ever seen this part on my previous VXs. I don't even think my VX has an aftermarket security system.

The chirp module on mi Amigo is totally different. I'll have to look on the VX when I get home tonight.
BTW, I couldn't find that component in the shop manual ... or the parts list ... or the security system manual. Of course I didn't look real hard though.

Both of my VX's have that little noisemaker, it is stock and I can confirm that that is where the little chirp comes from when you lock or unlock your doors remotely using the fob...Quote:
