Removing Roof "rails" and spoiler

I am considering repaining the faided roof on my VX. How do I remove the rails, spoiler and the antenna?

I think I know the answer (remove the headliner), but I am hoping there is an ealier way to do it :).

Nope, there's no other way. But on the bright side, removing the headliner is pretty simple.

Where you may have trouble is pulling the rails off the roof. In addition to the bolts through the roof members, they're secured with some very grippy double-sided tape. I'd recommend doing it on a warm day or otherwise heating it up somehow so you don't break the plastic or pull the paint.

I will be pulling mine when it goes in for lineX. Headliner is easy to remove.
