Look at what I found at a junk yard!

I was hitting some locale "U PULL IT" salvage/junk yards looking for some parts to a firebird,but when I'm there I always check the troopers,Rodeo,Passport as the inventory is always changing.

And I'll be damned if there wasn't a 6 disc cd changer that wasn't pulled.
I asked to use there battery and checked to see if it worked and it did!
The radio was beat to hell n back but the CD changer was in awsome condition!
They sold it to me for 20$

Hope you sidn't pay much for it. They jam and eat CDs a lot.

Definitely a nice score for $20. Doesn't look like it's ever even been used.

The best use for one of those was someone on here made a desktop robot out of one. :)

Seriously, I'd guess at least 50% or more of folks on this forum have said theirs got jammed and/or ate CDs, and throws error code ERR03, and that will mean it's toast. Maybe start burning copies of any valuable CDs you might want to play.
I put a cubby box in it's place…great place for my ipod, much better use of that space IMHO.

Nice score for $20. I am looking forward to installing a cubby hole where my dead one is. I have a aftermarket stereo now.

I Just want it incase I ever do sell my VX I have all the original parts,including a disc munching CD changer lol.

You know we've had three Vx's, and never a problem with one of those Fujitsu CD players.

Mine still worked when I removed it and never ate a CD...

Mind stopped working about 2 weeks ago. Not the first time though. Did that once before for a couple of days. Still waiting for it to heal itself, lol.

just dont change the cd while driving - lesson learned and my 6 disk in the trash
