This one is purely for last resort and holds .45 long colt rounds or .410 shells. I prefer to have one chamber for warning, then the other for business. The cool thing with these derringers is that the barrels are interchangeable, so you can have different caliber possibilities. I'm going to get a 357 magnum barrel for this gun as well.Quote:

I work for a custom gun shop, just finished up my Marling 1895
Cut down to 16", WWG sights, light laser mount, XS full rail, Pachmeyer recoil pad, WWG ejector and mag follower, topped it off with an eotech that recently came back from Afghanistan. It will be a bear destroyer. Also check out my shop on Animal Planet tonight the show is called Wild West Alaska.

I was looking into big bore, 458 socom or 50 beowulf upper receiver for years...Until I thought about it, and figured why bother with cartridges that are trying to replicate whats already tried and proven....45-70. Ive been saving for that stainless guidegun 1895, but geez, I keep getting distracted with panic buying of Ar15 lowers. Im back at zero for that 1895 fund...

Oh and that taurus judge! Funny that was posted, I've always wanted to set aside for a Taurus circuit judge, the carbine. It feels very boba fett to me. Like I want to be an intergalactic bounty hunter with it :)
good show, you should of mounted the shot guns to the VX,lol.
The circuit judge is awesome, like wild west style, and its cheap. I would put it in the good category for end of days, 410 buck shot, followed by 410 slug or 45 long colt, if the warning doesn't turn em, put a big hole in them. The revolver style is also for more reliable and maintenance free compared to a semiauto. We have a taurus 357 with 2.5" barrel, my wife loves that gun. She prefers to shoot 38special, which is fine by me, much cheaper, but a versatile gun as well.
