Billy, you doing a fluid change too? If not, just jack the side your working on to keep the fluid from falling out.Quote:

Billy, I would replace the rear axle bearings at the same time (if they are not sealed bearings that are leaking anyway??).
Axle seals normally leak because there is too much play in the bearings and that causes damage to the seal.

Don't know for SURE, but the bearings look to me as if they'd need to be pressed off/on...a mildly educated guess on my part...:_wrench:
And yes, my preference would be for OEM bearings from good ol' Merlin...:yesgray:
