Source for Parts
This might be a way to pick up some parts. While I was browsing eBay, I saw a VX that was being parted out. The fuel door was not mentioned so I took a chance I contacted the seller directly. He happened to have a fuel door off that vehicle. I bought it right away. I contacted one other seller and he told me the picture was old and there was just a shell left but it didn't hurt to try. The worse you can do is either not get an answer or they won't have the part but I got lucky. Just something to think about.

Yup, we do that quit a bit. Usually a member posts a part they've found on ebay, CraigsList or a salvage yard and other members contact the seller to see if they have other VX stuff. I do it very frequently.
I also tell the seller to expect more calls/contacts from our group.
Last year Moncha even created a couple new categories to capture these various finds:
1) Internet Parts Found -it's a SUB-FORUM under "Miscellaneous Items for Sale"
2) Vehicles For Sale Found Elsewhere -it's a SUB-FORUM under "Vehicles for Sale".
3) Salvage Yard VX Found - Main category forum

I agreed on that, most of the seller have new product but picture on ebay old. This create little bit confusion between buyer & seller and on price. These have direct affect on parts purchase.
