Got new engine under warranty, anyone else?

A couple years ago, my Vehicross started overheating. A local mechanic replaced my radiator and stuff for about $500. It kept overheating. The same mechanic then quoted me $1,500 for more work, head gasket leaking or something, I can't remember, so I had it towed to an authorized service dealer, about an hour away.

Under warranty, I was given a new engine at 111,000 miles, just in time before the 120,000 mile deadline. It's like and old man with a new heart I like to say. The new engine has about 25,000 miles now. Anyone else get an new engine under warranty? Is so, please explain.

I hope I do not need to but I am no where near the 120,000 miles but my warranty runs out next month

Can't say I am in that boat. Warranty been gone for over a year now and nowhere even near 100k miles. ;)
