Here's a shifter modded from a new Lincoln. I really didn't like our two-fisted one and thot something more refined was in order. If there's inrterest, I'll post more on it. The shifter boot covers our very clunky lettering for RDN, etc., but I shredded it accidentally cuz it was a bit short. I'll be getting one from ebay most likely. The chrome is really shiny and reflects the camera...it's not marred though it might seem like it.

Everyone is different when it comes to VX interior decor, personally I like very futuristic looks. Your new shifter would be completely cool if that chrome shape was illuminated. If you've watched Tron before (the newest), you know how they made everything look with the blue, with accenting and outlining things? That's the look that I love...
I'm very interested in doing this mod, very interested. Can you post some more pics and more info? I've already got my truck apart so this would be much easier to do sooner than later.

Looks good I get compliments on mine all the time which is very similar, mine looks more like a, manual shift knob though.
Do you have any pics of the rest of your interior? Your dash looks different than anything I've seen in avx?

just how I see that massive T bar. Serioulsy no need for it. The Lincoln is refined...I guess that's how to put it. T bar for boat throttles...not a cool vehicle like ours, IMO.Quote:
