My own response bout the end of the world post..Just say, no more headaches. read pl

I have to say, no more headaches and sorry to all that I caused one. After a while in almost solitude in the mountains, i have found my inner peace, and realized that why worry. Many of you guys where right. I still care for people and will help as much as I can, but about world issues and problems.....All I have to say is "NO WORRIES" any more my friends. It has taken me about 6 months to figure out how to let go and stop drowning. Well now I can go back to Florida, the mountains have given me the cradle to ponder. I know this is just a forum, and most of us have not met, but we know we are a big family, and being part of a family includes these kinds of thoughts and feeling to be shared with one another. Here is a few songs that are just great to stick your head back up after a big wave have taken you down for a long held down, Now its time to breath :) and see the sunshine. Good mourning all.

Really no need to apologize Coastie. I'm of the opinion that you are in no way whatsoever alone when it comes to worrying about the direction a lot of things seem to be taking these days, regardless of how carefree some may wish you to believe they actually are.

My only suggestion to those who may have similar worries is that, religious beliefs or not, the serenity wisdom prayer is applicable for pretty much all of life's various trials.

I agree and think it's silly to be worried about the future so much that it ruins today. Although, nothing's wrong with a little planning ahead either.

I watched this show... can remember the title... "doomsday planners" or something?? Anyways the show was pretty funny because it showcases these people who are nutty and planning for the definite collapse coming soon. They have underground shelters, loads of food, stock piling guns, gas, buying camo to cover they're vehicles, etc.

Funny but those will be the people that will live through a worldwide collapse where I'll run out of gas in the VX the first day & be eaten by zombies. Nobody can predict the future. ;)

I rather die knowing that my life was always in the sunshine, then live under the moon. :) What ever happens, will just be a start of greater things, for death is the start of life, so living life to the fullest good now is just a taste of the greater life later.

Did you know under the Patriot Act if you have more than 7 days of food in your home you can be considered a terror threat? :eek: Wife told me that she saw that the other day on the news...

Not to be all fact-checkee, but this is a bit of overstatement. It's not "under the Patriot Act" but rather part of a list of characteristics that US LEA and intel orgs use as a sort of profile of suspicious activity. The stocking of food is one of several activities, when combined with others, that might be worth considering suspicious. Now I believe our security organizations such as HLS and TSA are overreaching, reactionary, and thuggish, and that any number of our policies supposedly designed for the evil terrorists are in fact abusive to citizens, and ought to be unconstitutional, but I still recognize that that "7 days of food" thing is not accurate. I think you might have successfully trolled me, heh.
