I almost became an actual VXer. Saw an ad on CL last night for an '01 proton with 4wd issues, bad tires, and a large dent in the fender for $2500. I called first thing this morning but was 2nd in line. Now the ad is gone so I'm guessing the guy bought it. For that price I was all over it.
Was also a '99 silver one for 7500 that also disappeared with the last couple hours.

Not a big deal. Was only interested because of the price. Been looking for one really cheap, possibly with a dead trans to do a 5 speed swap in.
Trying to decide on a '99 amigo thats listed now. Its the first v6 5speed 2nd gen I've seen listed in 2 years of looking. But its red (not my favorite) and an S model so no power anything. Power options can be added though. I have a gauge cluster out of an '00+ amigo with glow gauge faces so if I got one of those I could make it fancy.
What ever I get for a 2nd vehicle wont be offroaded. The rodeo is already beat up and will become mainly a trail rig. It will get some additions at that point though (steel bumpers, tera lows, etc).
