Rodeo Dash?

Does anybody know if the r98 rodeo dash fits the vx?

+1 - Would give anything to have that dash rather than ours. Tough to swallow when you realize that Isuzu was producing VX's with the old crappy dash at the same time as the new dashes were going out in Rodeos. :(

VX_Focus..are you replacing your dash with the rodeo version out of necessity and thats whats available...or that the look you prefer?

Ya gotta figure Isuzu did the final design of the JDM VX in '96 with production for '97. I guess they were not gonna bother to change the dash to a '98 for the US version. I can't blame 'em. The US VX was all about the exterior and the seats. They were only looking to attract attention and sell a few thousand, so why bother with a fancier dash? :_confused

It's up to us owners to spice it up with a trim kit or some paint.

my dash is cracked and covered with vinyl to hide it but it looks awful.i would replace it with a vx dash but cant find one so i figured if the rodeo and or passports have the same dash it might be easier to find.
i found a 98 rodeo dash on ebay for around 35 buck would have been a steal if it would fit

Is your dash cover or your dash bezel cracked? Be careful that you don't buy the wrong thing on eBay - $35 for the entire dash cover (horizontal surface that wraps around the dash) sounds cheap to me. $35 for the bezel (trim around the gauges, radio, etc.) is about right.
