Gran Turismo 5 - who's playing?

I was really bummed out when the Official car list came out before the game release and the rumored VehiCROSS was NOT included. :(

Still... what fun! :)

Haven't played it, but after seeing that cobra, I want to.
The cobra is my all time favorite auto.

Hey, that Cobra "photo" is from the Super-Pretty-Photo-Mode. I'll have to post a screen shot from the actual game that accurately shows what it really looks like during a race. I don't want to misrepresent the video quality.

Oh how I have waited and waited for this game... in 3D! But for now I will have to settle for just the game and a wheel. Rick, do you use the GT wheel? I have seen holiday sales listing them at $100. :yeso:

I have the Logitech Driving Force GT wheel and can't imagine trying to play without it. If you're looking at the same one, $100 sounds like a good deal. I think the best deal I found last year when I got mine was $125(?) Keep in mind you will need to attach the wheel to something.

No factory Porsche's to play either. I heard they are all on Need for Speed.

That wheel you posted is on sale at Meijer's for $89. But I think Meijers is just Indiana, Iowa, Mich, Ohio, Kentucky...not sure how far out they go.

Good find! We don't have Meijers here, but I've seen reference to it before. BTW, how do you pronounce "Meijers"?

The Cobra is quick so I quickly got up to 3rd place... but then lost control. I think all 9 cars I had passed took turns running into me! :laughing: Now I have to figure out how to post video - I think they spun me around 4 or 5 times!

Yeah, but I heard Need for Speed has the 918 Concept Car, Carrera GT, GT2 and GT3......nice!!!!

Awsome! Makes me want to go buy a system and go racing.

DITTO! I have an old school (classic :p) Xbox and have been playing Gotham Racing for a while, but GT5 looks AWESOME!! May have to switch systems. Hmmm....
