Knock Sensor

Sorry Friends. I can't find a thread on replacing the knock sensor. I got one from Advance Auto but have no idea where it goes or how to replace it. If I can get that information, my son says he can do it for me. Little help?

under the intake manifold which you have to remove, will need new gaskets

get the gaskets from http://www.sgparts.com/, just call the stores and order from them only one does shipping though, it is the better gaskets than what you get from other places

what would symptoms be if one had a bad knock sensor? and wouldnt that set off a check engine light?

Yes, check engine light was how I knew my knock sensor was bad.
