At least for triathletes! Tomorrow is the big dance....Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii! I will be glued to the live internet coverage all day on Ironman.com. The mens race will be a good one...more than a handfull who will be battling it out for the win. The womens race will be for 2nd...noone is in the same zipcode as Chrissie Wellington...a lot of the top men will be looking over their shoulder!:yesy:

Your annual Kona Ironman posting always brings a flood of fond Kona memories back to me.
Staring down the smokin' barrel of ol' man winter in the not too distant future makes my memories of Kona all the fonder...& my dread of -35 deg mercury, even stronger...:yes:
Hopefully if all goes as planned (i.e. I quallify next year) I'll be lining up amongst them in 2012!!!!:bwgy:
It was a great Kona Ironman race this year as usual. The Australians proved tough to beat, the whole thing is pretty amazing I've got a great view of the finish line from my store. I hope you get over here next year Triathlete If I can be of help let me know.
